DOGE looking at absurd perks feds enjoy.
72% of Americans across party lines back DOGE’s mission to slash improper payments. Taxpayers see a government where federal compensation that was 293 billion in 2024 is warped by contractor spending - 759 billion. Yet the feds cling to perks like pensions that have a $1.2 trillion in unfunded liabilities! Transparencies are long overdue. Democrats are shielding a system that funds left leaning media NPR, PBS, and NGO’s with taxpayer money. It’s a laundry for Democratic causes! Federal workers complaints of unfairness over reforms fall flat when you consider that 98% of them luxuriate in defined benefit pensions perk that’s nearly extinct in the private sector.
