In 1983, Congress passed a law that official retirement age will be 67 and that will begin this November. A lot of people are upset with that because they want to retire sooner than that. As for me, I'm 82 and I still work full time. Why? Because I love my job and my clients, my clients love me, and this is fun. But the thing is, Social Security ran out of money long ago. Congress has been using the funds there as their slush fund. And we've been using our retirement money for every stupid thing we could think of because it was there. But I do feel bad for those who have to wait to age 67 because we didn't have to wait.
