We-re hearing now that AI is gonna kill us. It reminds me back in the late 19th century when Thomas Edison was at war against Nikola Tesla. Edison advocated for DC to recur, which flows in one direction and it was the standard in the early days of electricity. Tesla developed AC, alternating current, which reverses directions millions of times a second. Edison launched campaigns to discredit AC, claiming it was dangerous. He conducted public demonstrations where he electrocuted animals to illustrate his point, that he lacked scientific backing. Today, both currents coexist. AC remains the dominant form for power distribution. Well, DC is essential for modern electronics. But the people involved in this battle, like Bernie Sanders, he doesn't even know how to operate a comb. Maybe Bernie should ask AI.
